Hello, World

You might expect a post like this to be the first one. My first post was added on April 6th, over 7 weeks ago. There are 5 posts in total, this being the 6th one. So far I have only told a handful of people and mostly kept this blog to myself. Starting now, I will share it a little more. Hi, hello, welcome to my blog. I write about tech, old stuff, sewing, books and anything else I might find interesting. Currently I plan to add 2-4 posts per month.

The idea of a writing a blog has stuck with me for a while. Last year I put together two pieces, about Chaos;Head and the Odin handheld. What was missing was my own place online. I also started learning basic HTML, but I didn't quite make the jump yet. The months passed and February came. I visited a HTML workshop and the spark came back. A few weeks later I purchased not-oudated.com and luckily, some people helped me get everything up and running. This time it all came together and here we are.

Overview

My blog is kept simple. On top you can find Home, Archive, Collections, About and RSS.

• Home provides an overview of the last 4-8 posts, with a little summary or the first paragraph
• Archive lists all posts in chronological order, the newest on top
• Collections links to a different site, it's a place I am still building. I use it to showcase my collections, currently my 3DSes and iPods
• About tells you more about this blog and links to the Meta page, where I get into technical background info
• RSS is an option to keep up with this blog

Outlook

I am planning to add Categories in the future, so posts are searchable by topic and not buried in a chronological list. I am writing everything by hand, including the RSS file. I would like this to be compatible with old devices. The page should be accessible and fully useable with assstive technology. The Collections page is more complex and doesn't fully work with Safari (something broken with svg image maps and flex), but the blog should work anywhere. If you have any issues, please let me know.

There will be no ads, no affiliate links, nothing to sell. I am not and will not be using LLMs or image generators. I hope you'll enjoy it here.
